The beginning
Bull Run Kitchen & Bath is a kitchen, bath and home remodeling company with showrooms across Virginia and Maryland. At Magnero Agency, my team and I took on the company's new web experience from scratch. The goal was to show the work the company has done over the years in the way that tells it best: through its customers' eyes.
My role
As a Full-Stack Developer on this project, I took on responsibility at many stages, from bringing the design to the screen to keeping the site running smoothly behind the scenes. I focused on carefully translating the visual language created by our design team into pages, making content easy to manage and helping visitors find what they are looking for.
Every project is a story
More than a hundred completed projects were turned into stories based on real customer videos. Once the site launches, visitors will be able to see not just before-and-after photos, but how a home was transformed and how the people living there feel about it. A map for exploring projects by area, service and city pages, and cost guides will also be part of the experience.
A carefully growing platform
Work at this scale needed every detail to be in its place. We reviewed everything carefully, from images to content, and making the site easy to use for both visitors and the company's own team was our shared priority. The close collaboration with my teammates throughout this process was one of the most valuable parts of the project.
Today
The new site continues to develop as it is prepared for launch. Together with my team at Magnero Agency, I keep working to complete an experience that tells Bull Run's story in the best possible way.
