The beginning
YT Shisha is a wholesaler working with several branches and a wide dealer network. Orders arriving through different channels, the flow of work between branches and constantly updated product information were becoming harder to follow as the business grew. The need was clear: one system where the whole team could manage their work easily, in one place.
On my own, end to end
I designed and built this platform entirely on my own, from the first idea to today. I started not at a desk but inside the business itself: I listened closely to how orders come in, how they are prepared in the warehouse, how drivers make deliveries and what the accounting team needs. I shaped every screen around the person who would use it every day.
One screen for the whole operation
Today, orders from different channels come together in one place, and every step from approval to delivery can be followed. From managers to warehouse staff, from accounting to drivers, each role sees only the screens it needs. A catalogue of hundreds of products is always kept up to date, while customer accounts, payments and receipts move along in the same order.
A clear view for decisions
With reports showing branch and team performance, profitability and daily workload, management now makes decisions from a clear picture rather than guesswork. The platform works as comfortably on a phone as on a desktop, so the team in the field and the team in the office work with the same up-to-date information.
Today
Today, the platform is the core tool the company relies on for its daily work. With each piece of feedback it meets a new need, growing together with the business. Understanding a company's daily workflow from start to finish and turning it into software on my own has been — and continues to be — one of my most valuable learning experiences.
The platform keeps growing with the business.
