The idea
Working across different projects, I noticed that WordPress security is often left to tools that feel complex, hard to understand and even intimidating. I believed a security tool should protect a site without wearing out its owner, explain clearly what it is doing and never make things worse. Bekçi Security grew out of that belief.
Designing a product
I designed and built Bekçi entirely on my own. The first step was being clear about who it is for: agencies and freelancers managing many sites, and owners whose website is the heart of their business. For every decision I came back to one question: does this feature give the user confidence, or does it create a new worry?
Putting trust at the centre
When Bekçi finds a risk, it explains it in plain language, with evidence. Before making a change, it shows what will change and makes it easy to undo. Its protection features — from login security and spotting suspicious files to a record of important events and recovery when something unexpected happens — were built on the same principle: safety first.
Every site on one screen
For people managing more than one site, I designed a central dashboard that brings everything into one place. Which site needs attention and what the next step should be is clear at a glance. Security stops being a constant burden and becomes a calm routine.
The result
Bekçi Security came to life as a security product that explains risks and previews changes before they happen. I took on every stage myself, from the initial idea and design to development and the final details. It is one of the projects that best shows what thinking about and owning a product end to end means to me.
