What the tool does
A word cloud shows frequent words in larger type, giving a quick impression of what a text is about. This tool counts the words first, then places the most frequent ones on a spiral so that no two words overlap.
Next to the picture you get a frequency table that shows how often each word appears and whether it made it into the cloud. It suits editors, teachers and content teams who want a fast overview of survey answers, customer reviews, meeting notes or a draft article, in Turkish or English.
How to use
- Paste the text and choose the analysis language. Turkish analysis is available on this English page too.
- Pick a stop-word option and, if you like, add your own words to remove, separated by commas.
- Set the minimum word length, the minimum frequency and the maximum number of words to draw.
- Choose the size, colour palette, whether some words may be vertical, and the size scale.
- Press Generate. Change the seed or use New arrangement for a different layout.
- Download the cloud as PNG or SVG and the table as CSV.
For percentages and two- or three-word phrases, use the keyword density checker; for overall length and reading time, use the word counter.
Frequencies and stop words
The text is normalised to NFC, split into words with Intl.Segmenter and lower-cased for the selected language. With Turkish analysis, İZMİR and izmir count as the same word, while KILIÇ becomes kılıç and is never confused with kilic. English lower-casing would treat these letters differently, which is why the language setting matters.
Stop words are matched against whole words only: removing bir (Turkish for one) keeps birlik (unity). The Turkish list starts from the base set shared by the other tools on this site and is extended for this tool; its version is included in the result data. Words made only of digits are skipped by default.
The table accounts for every counted word. Each row is marked drawn, did not fit, below minimum frequency or beyond the word limit, so nothing disappears silently. The summary shows total, removed and counted words separately.
Combining Turkish word variants
Turkish is agglutinative, so kahve (coffee), kahveyi and kahvenin are counted as different words. The tool does not stem by default, because automatic stemmers can merge unrelated words; the choice stays with you.
Write the forms you want to merge in the alias table, for example kahveyi, kahvenin => kahve, and switch the option on. The Variants column shows which forms were combined. A separate option handles proper names with apostrophes such as İstanbul’da: when enabled, the suffix after the apostrophe is dropped before counting.
SVG versus PNG
The SVG export contains real text, stays sharp at any size and can be edited. The file uses only svg, g and text elements, with no scripts, links, styles or external resources, and every word is escaped. Because the words remain live text, the result can look different on a computer without the Manrope font.
The PNG export renders the on-screen layout to pixels at twice the resolution, so there are no font differences and it is easy to reuse in slides or social posts. You can choose a white, transparent or dark background.
Example and interpretation
For the input ve ve kitap kitap kitap, the default Turkish stop-word list removes ve (and), leaving only kitap: 3 (book) in the table, while the summary reports two removed words.

The example button loads a short Turkish text about coffee with the alias rule kahveyi, kahvenin, kahvesi => kahve. kahve becomes the largest word; turn the alias option off and generate again to see the forms counted separately.
Limits and privacy
- Up to 100,000 characters, 10,000 distinct words and 150 words in the cloud. Text over the limit is not cut silently; you get an error.
- Placement attempts are capped. When space runs out, fewer words are drawn and a warning explains how many.
- Frequency alone does not show importance, topic, search volume or SEO value.
- Text is processed in your browser and is not sent to a server. If you include it in a share link, anyone with the link can read it.
Frequently asked questions
Why do I get the same cloud every time?
The layout uses a random number generator with a fixed seed. The same seed gives the same arrangement; change it for a new one.
Why is a word missing from the cloud?
It may be a stop word, below the minimum frequency, beyond the word limit or unable to fit. The Status column in the table tells you which.
Can it merge Turkish suffixes automatically?
No. To avoid wrong merges, only the forms you list in the alias table are combined.
Why does the SVG look different on another computer?
SVG keeps real text and no font file is embedded. Use the PNG export for a consistent look.
Is my text stored?
No. It is processed only in your browser and is not written to browser storage automatically.
